So what's my story?...

I come from generations of chimney sweeps, I’ve been in and around the trade my whole life.

Many years ago, after using manual rods for a very long time, I convinced myself to buy a set of power sweeping rods, from the UK’s only supplier at the time. They were a game changer my trade.

They were obviously good, but they had their faults, but the supplier was not interested in my advice, to the point of of being hostile enough that I would not consider placing a future order with them again.

So, what to do? I decided to use my ideas, and my experience to make my own power sweeping rods. Designing them, finding a manufacturer, and having them made. I even sold a few sets to help cover some of the costs. In fairness, they were good, especially at the price point, but the quality was simply not there, the quality of manufacture was very lacking. But this was my first dip into the water. I put this down to experience and moved on.

It was around this time that I had a life change and decided to start my own chimney sweep association and then a training company.

Very soon thereafter, the members I trained, were asking for advice on rods to buy, who's are the best etc.

Considering my previous supplier of rods, and the experience and cost associated with them,  I got cracking and made some of my own again.

I invested great sums in machinery, used professional services for assistance, and produced the first version of the rods that I make now.

I used all my previous knowledge and accumulated sweeping experience and produced a genuinely superb and robust engineered power sweeping sweeping rod kit.

I have changed the design slightly three times since their fruition.

I know of all the other rods available from others and can genuinely say, none of them are better than mine, I'd argue actually that mine are in fact better.

Being very proud of my product, I sold them to members, and still do. I’ve always considered them exclusive, only selling them to the individuals I’ve trained.

I’m now at the point where I want them to be sold at a much larger scale, to all sweeps and duct engineers.

With the aim of devoting all my time to this, I’ll be looking to pull away from the training etc that I do now, to give them 100% focus.

I’m looking to find a sole distributor to sell this equipment in the US.

The rod diameters can be changed to suit if and where required. I'll also be looking to add extra manual brush head types to the range.

Production and scale is not an issue.

I'm looking to arrange a meeting,  to show the equipment and its quality, with a view to placing a sizeable order.

I am looking a for a sole US distributor for exclusive territory only.

I very much look forward pushing this forward with a new partner.
